"You need a new pair of shoes," The armadillo asks then notices Lynee teething on his shoes.

"No, we need to keep Lynne," He gestured to the puppy. "From destroying the shoes we already have."

"Oh," The shoemaker went behind the desk to get some unusable leather and hands it to Kaladin, "I can't use it so you mine as well use it to train her. And you're paying for the shoes she already is tearing apart."
Lynne looks up from the shoe she had grabbed off the shelf.

Kaladin sighed. "Right... right. How much are those white birds worth?"

The shoemaker looks at the birds, "Not much but I'll trade you them for food since my stash is low."

"You have yourself a deal then."

"Thank you," The shoemaker takes the birds and hands Kaladin the shoes and unusable leather strips.

"No, thank you," Kaladin chimed, picking up Lynne so she wouldn't get into anything else.

Lynne squirms in his grasp. Bella strokes Kai's fur.
