She took a breath and walked to the end of the alley. She walked into that last room and shouted, "Heyyy! Corky! Long time no see! Did ya miss me?"

He looked up at her with a rotten toothed smile. He was some unidentifiable species, but he was huge, clearly a gluttun. "Ayyye, if ih-isn't mah Best tracka. Missid yo sweet-cheeks. Wait- who ar-them?" He asked in distorted english.

"Cor, I need to call a favor. I need good armor. It's for one of these guy. They are no trouble, would I lie to you?" Zeth said as he voice got softer. She new she could get him to budge if she did everything just the right way.

The large man looked over Scias Hexic. He stood and walked up to them and grunted. "Whu is yu?" he asked as he looked down on the two smaller men. He was about 7'9" and towered over them.

(if nothing else, it's intended to be a community of acceptance. Might have our differences from time to time, but all had to stick together to accomplish things.
Adversity does seem to make some wonderful people, though. For better or worse.
I don't associate much with the community these days but I do have plenty of friends still involved with it who have all been through enough crap that'd I'd fight for their lives if I had to.)

Scias looked up at the man, taking a bit of a cautious step back.
He definitely hadn't expected him to be so.. big.
He wasn't sure if he could take the guy himself if it came down to it, now thankful Hexic had accompanied him down here.
"My name is Scias. And you are?"

He was cautious, but unafraid.
If this man was by any chance associated with the army, at least he knew he wouldn't be recognized only by his first name.

Hexic looked straight into the man's eyes. It wasn't the best idea, but Hexic wasn't the best at having great ideas.

"I'm Hexic."

Wow. Haven't done this a lot. Looking up at someone. It's weird.

Zethrin*

She heard the two introduce themselves, and facepalmed herself. Why the hell would they tell him their actual names...

"Corin..." The giant grumbled. He sat back at his seat in the back of the room. "Anyway darlin, whot kinda armor yu wantin?" He asked Zeth.

She gestured to Scias. "He needs it, not me, but you are going to give the armor to him right? You'll do it for me, won't you?"

Corin rolled his eyes, but reluctantly pulled a box of sample metals and other materials out from his desk. "a'right boy, pick n' chooses, then tewl me wha-you want"

Scias read the concern over her face, but said nothing other than giving her an assured smile as he looked through the materials carefully.

"So what exactly are these two?"
He pointed to a set of black metals.

Corin grunted, "The ligh'r one is blacks gold. An' da other is Titanium. I hev some reaw noice stuff like feminum and Adamanite around here somewhere, but those are a little extra" he said rubbing his fingers together.

Zeth however interceded. "Isn't it great that you owe me so many favors? Let him have his pick." she said with a shy smile and a bat of the lashes. With Corin, works every time.

"Mrm....fine, but her better make it fast. if you want armor out of any of this, I still have to forge it." The large man demanded with a smokey grunt.

"Hey, I'll bite. Mind showing me the other ones? Mostly looking for something lightweight, not too bendable, and conducts electricity pretty well."

Coring brought out a much nicer box, full of much nicer metals. These were the kinds of metals that were the 'once in a lifetime' kind of thing. Maybe not for a military veteran like Scias, but they were still pretty hard to find. "like a' said before, Feminum is a good choice. It is not so conductive, bu' it's nearly indestructible, and ver'ey light weight. Silver is the most conductive of all ma' metals."

Corin was starting to piece it all together. Scias look like it, needed armor like it, acted like it....Corin was starting to pick up on Scias' species. Not. Good.

He wasn't so dumb to completely tip him off. He figured with any luck, he'd be able to make the mods on the other armor set he already had taken on with Saras with the pieces of this new set.

"So how about we go with the feminum with a silver alloy trim? Always liked the look of silver but I don't want to give up any durability trying to wear a full set of it.
For the forging, would it be possible to do it in pieces instead of a full set? You know, just so it's easy to remove. Not trying to get stuck a suit out in the field again if it dents on me."

Corin eyed Scias and Hexic again. He was getting very suspicious of them.

"Measurements?" Corin requested as he turned to Zeth.

He mumbled something to her. Zethrin looked at Scias and hesitantly nodded. Corin smirked as he looked back at the two boys. "Knew it." He chuckled.
