Jason nodded,smiling at the faint positivity. "Yeah,I think I read all the fighting strategic and technical books I could find." He laughed slightly,running a hand through his brown and white hair.

"That doesn't sound very fun. Lea told you about what I did today, but...yeah." He rolled his eyes. "She wasn't too happy about that." He tried not to stare at Jason

His freckles rushed with calm purple and positive teal,the colors colliding and seeming to splash around the color changing scales. "I'd rather do a lot other than hover about and read. My wings feel a little sore." He said,rolling his shoulders as his elegant wings bounced slightly with the movement. "Just wish their bone base melded with my back rather than my ribs,like normal dragons ya' know? Hurts like heck to shift,but I guess I'd die anyway in the process if my spine snapped and lengthened at the same time." He said. Those white marks matching his words again,thankfully.

"I guess I don't understand, but I'll agree anyway," he said with an awkward smile

Jason looked to Puck and smiled,a real smile. He walked over and hugged him for a moment. "Thanks.Just need someone to talk to." He said softly before releasing the older boy.

"Oh. Um. You're welcome. If it's listening that I need to do to get more hugs I'll have to listen more often," Puck was only half-joking.

Jason smiled but seemed to shift a bit,as if there was a topic on his mind that he wanted to talk about but wasn't sure. It it was true,he had heard Puck say that he love him and...he wanted to figure out if it was true and maybe if he could...try again without getting hurt again.Maybe,since Puck was different. And maybe he could learn about the part of love that doesn't hurt so bad.

Maybe. There was only one way to find out. "You look like you've got something on your mind," Puck pointed out. "You okay?" He asked, worried that Jason was thinking about Ash again

He nodded,but rubbed the back of his neck,the binds loosened now and he began pulling them tight again. "Well....so...when we made it into the wyldwood....you said you....loved me,and I j-just was thinking. Is it true? D-do you...love me?" His tail curled in and out a bit nervously,wings fidgeting a bit and nervous dark teal swirling over his freckles like spinning clouds.

"Oh. That. Yes, okay? I do. Why else would I take a bullet for you? Try to stop you from going into the Iron Realm?" He would've also brought up that he told Jason that Ash was a jerk and not to be trusted, but he wasn't sure exactly how over Ash Jason was.
