Mark was hit. Plenty of times.

He didnt fall. The spines on his back jutted out further, coated in blood. They began glowing bright blue, and Mark brought up his fist, and opened it.

A beam of atomic energy shot out and blasted the chopper to bits.

Ash gaped.

Darius looked at him, and thought, 'Whatever.'

(Nah, my freinds becoming a mutant monster. Thats boring.)

Then Mark proceeded to blow up the rest of the choppers.

Darius
Darius got his bow out, worked a magical shield into his skin, and began firing arrows at the ground troops, hitting more than one each time.

Lily
Lily watched Mark, terrified.

Mark looked at her and smiled, before shooting a guard behind her. He tossed over a handgun and said, *hide!* before fighting again.

Lily
At this, Lily stood, and said, "No. I stay with you."
She proved to be quite adept with the pistol.

Mark beamed at her before killing more people. Ash had joined the fight too, blasting people with fire. Myra raced off with Shara to hide, and Eon ran with them with Maia and the eggs.

Shara
Shara snatched up a rifle from a dead soldier, and covered the retreat.

Darius
Darius ran out of arrows, put his bow across his back, and drew a sword and dagger. He began laying waste to the soldiers. Then he ran into a big otter, who wielded a pair of swords.
"Hey, you, otter!" he shouted, "Stand down, or I'll kill you!"

"Yeah, right," the otter replied, "I'll tear you apart and eat your entrails!"

Darius lunged, swiping with his sword at the otter's throat. It was almost insulting how casually the otter blocked the slash. Darius disengaged, spun, slashed at the otter's side, which was blocked, and followed with a kick to the fork of the otter's legs. He was lifted off the ground, and collapsed, clutching himself.

"Yield!" Darius shouted at him.

"I yield," the otter said.

Ash and Mark kept fighting, roaring.
