Suddenly, Luke came in with a tray piled with food he'd cooked. "I suggest you three eat." he said, taking a piece of chicken and little plate and putting it down for Soultice after putting the tray and some plates on the little table in the living room.

Bella jumped at his sudden appearance, making a startled yelp sound. She looked at the found, her stomach rumbling, but she refused to eat.
Soultice started eating, meowing happily.

Dexter gently rubbed Soultice's head.

She stayed silent, finally coming over to eat, but refusing to go anywhere near Dexter. She seemed nervous to be even near him.
Soultice purred loudly as he kept eating.

Dexter noticed so went to the opposite side of the room.
Luke left them be so he could get them some drinks.

Bella finally started eating, very hungry. She had an eye on Dexter in case he tried anything, because she was paranoid.
Soultice kept eating.
