Killian folded her wings tighter and her finned ears flattened against her head.

She told a step forward and the ground caved underneath both of you. You landed on Killian's back. It's a good thing she didn't have the Back Spikes trait. It's also a good thing Ny'venes are pretty sturdy, otherwise that landing would've really hurt her. You slide off her back and look up.
The fall seemed really short, but when you looked up at the hole that you fell into seemed like the size of a quarter now.
Killian's eyes gave off a faint glow, but not enough to see where you were.
"Are you okay?"

"I actually don't know. I know a lot about sylesties, but the dark ones act real strange compared to the rest of the sylesties. They're bigger and they seem to vanish and reappear at random. They hunt other sylesties for fun too. Bullies..."
She ponders it for a few moments then turns around, taking Aura's empty plate and putting it in what must be her dish-washing bin.
