Val immediately hugged the wolf, burying her face in his shoulder as she started to cry.

Kit gave a small chuckle, "Right now I'd rather call it a blessing."

Red sighed. "If I could hold tangibility... Ah, well. Fine then. But only because it's your daughter, Cockatoo."

Holter hugged her back, muttering quiet words of comfort to her.

Kit chuckled, "I would hug you right now if I could."

Val just continued crying squeezing her eyes shut tight as her ears pinned back.

Red shrugged. "I mean you can try if you want."

Holt held still, patiently waiting for Val to let it all out.

Kit smiled and proceeded to walk up to Red and managed to give him a hug.

Val sniffled after a few minutes, she stopped crying but stayed hugging Holt with her head buried in his shoulder wanting just a few more minutes of comfortable silence.

Red forced himself to hold tangibility for a moment and let out a sigh. "....Oh boy."
Sonic smirked and tilted an ear. "You okay?"
"It's nothing, Hedgehog. Just..." He glanced at Kit. "Uh, kinda weird. Wasn't used to it alive, ain't used to it dead."

Kit giggled, "Well you better get used to it then." she said with a smile.

Val sniffled as she let out a soft sigh.

Red decided now was a fair time to cease being tangible. "Nobody asked for your oppinion, Cockatoo."

Holt glanced at Val. "Feel better?"

Kit just chuckled and looked at the ghostly echidna with a warm smile.

Val gave a small nod as she slowly pulled away as she rubbed her tears of pain and fear away.
