Jason winced and killed the blue and dark broken hearted pink in his freckles and underwings best he could with dark red. "Do we have the time to wait for long though?" He said, looking to Puck. His letters where slowing in their strong language and he seemed to calm slowly but surely.

Before Puck could reply, Leanansidhe smiled and blew Jason a smoke rabbit. "I suggest you get comfortable, darling."
It wasnt a request.

Jason held back coughs from the smoke, the substance different than dragon smoke and he could feel the toxins in it. He ran a hand through his hair and shook his head a bit, swishing those creamy white tips, and sighed softly. But he wasn't about to fight at the moment, not right now. His freckle scales shifted rapidly through teal, purple, orange and blue faster than you'd think they could go.

Puck hated waiting. He hated standing around with nothing to do, cooling his heels until someone gives him the go-ahead to move. He hated waiting for complete strangers to bring word of the missing scepter. To make things worse, there were no clocks anywhere in the mansion and, even weirder, no windows to see the outside world. Also, as most faeries did, Leanansidhe hated technology, so that of course meant no television, computers, phones, video games, anything to make time pass more quickly. Not even a radio, although the crazy humans wandering the mansion would often spontaneously burst into song, or start playing some kind of instrument, so the house was never without noise. The few exiled fey Jason saw either fled his presence or nervously told him that he was not to be bothered, Leanansidhe's orders. Apparently, Puck wasnt the only one going nuts.

Jason wasn't one for waiting either but he would if he had to,most of the time that is. He could be pushy and stubborn but not all the time. He had learned over the past while, over the winter court and iron realm, that he had a side with he'd not known. He was scared of so much more than he had thought in the dragon realm or human realm, and now it had shown through and really made him realize...he was just a kid,a hybrid kid who didn't know what in the heck he was doing yet had the ability to rip things apart if he fought hard enough. He gently cuddled Shade after a while, apologizing for the words he had blinked to him about not mentioning the ice prince.

"THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE," Ironhorse announced one day--night?--as they lounged in the library, a red-carpeted room with a stone fireplace and bookshelves that soared to the ceiling. With an impressive collection of novels and mostly fashion magazines at their fingertips, hopefully, they managed to keep myself entertained during the long hours that we waited for Leanansidhe's spies to turn something up. Puck had vanished earlier, probably tormenting the staff or getting into some kind of trouble, and Grimalkin was with Leanansidhe, swapping favors and gossip, which left Jason alone with Ironhorse. He was never still. Even in a human body, he acted like a flighty racehorse, pacing the room and tossing his head so that his dreadlocks clanked against his shoulders. Even though he wore boots, he still left hoof-shaped burn marks in the carpet, before the glamour of the mansion could smooth it out again.
"JASON," he said, still pacing, "WE MUST ACT SOON. THE SCEPTER IS GETTING FARTHER AND FARTHER AWAY, WHILE WE SIT HERE AND DO NOTHING. HOW CAN WE TRUST THIS LEANANSIDHE? WHAT IF SHE IS KEEPING US HERE BECAUSE SHE WANTS THE SCEPTER FOR HERSELF?"

Jason was flying by a book shelf, looking through a few books up high to see if anything was of interest to him. Flicking a bit carefully through spines he spoke without looking at his former 'capturer wanna be'.
"I don't want to be stuck in one place as much as anyone,I'd rather go and get my body bloodied fighting to be honest rather than just...being here, but we just have to have faith. My father said 'Sometimes you have to have faith in what you don't see, just as we have trust in the air that it will hold our wings up despite our mass and the lack of seeing it.'. So we have to just try and trust, and I know how hard that is. I know, but we have to try. What other main options do we have than to go romping around, hitting our heads on walls and getting dead ends? We'd waist time rather than let her do her thing and at least get somewhere." He said, tail swishing a bit to keep his balance as he hovered away from the shelf a bit with a book in his hands, wings to large to hover right by the shelf so he had to read mid air.

"I FEEL AS IF I SHOULD BE DOING SOMETHING, BUT I AM USELESS TO YOU HERE." He looked unhappy. The door banged open, and Ironhorse jumped, but it was only a human, the scruffy piano player they'd seen when they first came to the mansion. He ambled into the room, blank eyes scanning the floor, until they spotted Jason. With an empty smile, he stumbled forward, but stopped when he saw the huge Iron faery. Ironhorse rose with a growl.

"Same here buddy, and be nice." He said, gracefully landing and folding those multicolored majestic wings as he walked over, tail swishing and book carefully closed and held. Fatespeaker was pacing around a bit and Shade had been fluttering around like crazy, now landing and coming over and gently sniffing the human. Jason gave a gentle smile, wings ready though in case something happened.

With Ironhorse at a distance, the man seemed to relax. He inched up to the couch and perched on the edge, staring at Jason curiously. He seemed much calmer now, not so crazy. His eyes were clear, though the way he stared at Jason, unblinking, might make him a bit uncomfortable.
