While Electa slept peacefully in the cab of the truck, the sound of cars passing every so often, becoming fewer and fewer, eventually stopped

Alister also slept quite peacefully, the sounds of his breathing though.. it wasn't right. Sometimes he wouldn't breathe for 30 minutes but kick back to breathing stilll alive somehow. Something was wrong with him.. very wrong.

Electa woke in the middle of the night to a loud sound. She looked around, groggy, but there was nothing. She didn't hear anything else, and that's what concerned her. She looked in the back seat, and when she didn't see anybody she wondered if the sound was Alister. She quietly got out of the truck to check it out

Alister didn't wake, but he even.. looked off. He was attractive before, but now he looked too perfect to be human at all. Just.. way too perfect..

She debunked it as the night playing tricks on her eyes. She inspected the truck, and upon finding nothing, she stretched. She was wide awake now.

Hours passed, the sun rose into the sky.. and the world seemed to be at peace. or, that is how it seemed here.

She was in the truck, watching the sun rise

Alister was also awake, laying down on his back while looking up at the sky. He felt nothing though.. as if he did a complete 180 and wasn't himself anymore.

She thought that Alister was still sleeping, so she didn't bother him.

When the sun started to blind him he got up, growling a bit to himself. He was annoyed at the sun.. but he loved mornings..
