"Nora..." Val whispered, her eyes widened, "When I smelled the blood, Nora, my wild side took over! I managed to take back control, but it was hard..." Val explained as she started to shake.

Knuckles and Sonic glanced at eachother. It sounded made-up, sure, but it was thesisble compared to what they'd seen.
"....Why don't you go for a walk with Holt?" Sonic kindly suggested after a while. "Take your mind off things."

Val nodded, she stood up and walked over to Holt, her ears were drooped as she thought of all the times she had smelt blood yet not have Nora take over.

Kit gave Sonic and Knuckles a look that said, "We need to have a serious talk."

"Okay, fine, but you need to be able to speak English first, otherwise Sonic and Shadow will have no idea what you're saying." Red replied pointedly.

Holt got up and offered a patient smile. "Wanna go explore a bit?"

Val just gave a shrug, she just needed some cuddles to be able to calm down properly.

Kit sighed, she shook out her fur and stood up, "All right, now, someone needs to be able to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't get a chance to smell any blood."

"Just carry around lavender spray." Shadow grumbled.

Holt smiled patiently. "Come on."

Val gave a very small smile as tears welled up in her eyes, she needed a good cry and someone who was willing to offer a shoulder to cry on.

Kit raised an eyebrow, "How's lavender spray supposed to help?"

Holt frowned upon noticing the tears, looking somewhat unsure. "Uh... or we could whatever you want?"

Val sniffed, "I just want a hug and something to cuddle and cry on..." Val replied hugging herself.

Kit nodded, "Makes sense, but someone should still stay with her in case that doesn't work."

Holt sighed, then smiled patiently. "Well, if that's all, I don't mind. Come're." He said, placing a hand on her shoulder.
