Thankfully, they soon catch up with Ti. She's feeding the kelpie a wild animal that he can't discern, and nibbling on an equally unidentifiable dried, jerky-like meat.

He smiled.

She glances at him, still a little bit grumpy but mostly calmed down.

She just ignores him, climbing back onto the kelpie. "The Great River's bout a day away. We should keep going."

It's midday at this point. It's colder here than in arial- darker too.
