You walk through the portal to find a Puffadore. You open a chest to find a Qitari. You find a gem that gives you a purebred Obsidian-Ice Nomad Vulnyx.

umm can i open chest 1,2,3 go through portal 1,2,3 and pick up gem 1,2,3 ????

You can only pick three per day so choose three out of them all. For example : Can I have chest 1, portal 2, and gem 3.

It's okay they are on a two week wait list if you don't have enough gold at the moment. When you get enough to get 3k gold or more come back and get your pets. One of the easiest ways to get gold is the missions in the towns either from Esior's Haven or Sanctuary of Saerielle.
