Deertail moved out of the way for Veris to work, ready to help if needed. She let out a small gasp at Piper's condition, but knew she had to stay calm.

Veris immediately asked Se'therran what had happened.
Se'therran replied with, "A Nighthowler attack. A werebear and a cheetah. When the werebear had me down, she tried to distract it, and it caved her chest. I had healed just enough that, as it tried to bite me, I ended the werebear, and was able to save her from the cheetah."
Veris asked, "And you healed fine?"
Se'therran replied, "Yes, I did. She needs some serious help, though. I think the werebear did more to her than me."
"Deertail, bring me one of the silver knives, the green glass jug, a rag, and some rope."

Nova took Sorin from her and let him down in front of her own paws.
" What did you think you were doing?!" She scolded him. Sorin didn't respond.

"I'm keeping you in the nursery for the day tomorrow and tonight. You need to stop running away without my permission!" She growled a little then picked Sorin by his scruff. Then sighed.
"Sorry Urana... Thank you for finding him. Maybe I'll get a good sleep tonight." Nova half smiled.

Piper stirred a bit, finally conscious once more. Head throbbing, she opened her eyes, squinting at her bright surroundings. What happened? Were was she?
