"Yes, you did. I think it hit her artery too. If so... she'll be dead very soon." She looked down, and shook her head. "It might not have, though. I can't really be sure."

Zach never takes his hands off Charlotte's leg but his shoulders slump in defeat. "I'm a terrible person." He mutters. "I've been killing innocent beings from a young age because of my foolish actions." He takes one of his hands off to get his hair out of his eyes, leaving a red streak across his forehead.
After a few minutes, Zach can't find a pulse and he has to admit that Charlotte was gone and it was his fault.

"Zach... don't blame yourself. It wasn't you who did it." She tried to wipe the blood off his forehead and she took his hands in hers. "It wasn't your fault."

Zach nods, but he doesn't completely believe you. The creature sneaks up behind him again, wanting to finish what it had started.

She pushed Zach out of the way and tried to avoid the creature herself. "I'll stab you!" She yelled and took her daggers out again.

"Ooooh, scary." Zach says, not himself again, placing himself between your daggers and the creature.
If a creature can look smug, the one you threatened to stab sure does.

"I'm shorter, smaller, and faster than you. How are you going to stop me from slicing that thing open like I was in biology class?" She tried to walk around him.

"We're listing our strengths now, are we? Well, I'm bigger and stronger than you. And cutting open the poor creature would be rude." Zach says, blocking your path again.

"Sure. Burt it's taken over your mind so it shall die." She transformed into her wolf form and went under Zach and tried to bite the creature.

The creature's exoskeleton cracks and it screeches. Zach turns and tries to catch you and get you away from the creature. His tail hits your side.
