She licked the tip of her finger and used that to flip her page. Gulliver seemed to be in a bit of danger now that he as found his way into an island of tiny people...how on earth are they so small? She'd only ever seen a species about a foot tall, but no shorter.

3:30, after school lets out. I will meet you in the school library.

Care to at least reveal which one you are? How am I supposed to find you later this afternoon if I haven't the slightest clue what you look like?

She looked up from her book, searching the room briefly for a sign. A wave or nod was what she was hoping for, but she had no clue if she'd get anything at all.

'You'll know. There are not many others here with my power.'

Arco seemed to look up, giving Ruby a shy smile (or as much as he could manage with the mask over his face) as he felt her eyes scanning him over as she searched the room.
He returned back to his notes afterwards.

Not many people have my abilities either. But I must ask, what is the extent of your power? Brain wash? Mind control? Or can you just read minds?

She noticed a young man look up at her. Must be him.

'I would rather not go too into specifics personally.
But no, I don't brainwash or control people if that's what you're concerned about. I read minds and I can speak into them. Nothing more.'

Ruby

Honestly, that sounds pretty puny for a power. Not much use in a world full of simple minded beings. Sure you can get some valuable info here and there, but you are left pretty vulnerable in the physical perspective.

She continued to read her book throughout the mental conversation. Gulliver ate so much in comparison to his tiny friends.

She put her book back down and fiddled with one of the small gemstone trinkets she had made earlier. Ruby couldn't wait for this class to be over. It was long and very boring, seeming to drag on forever.
