Jason felt his heart leap at the sound of Ash's voice, but he smothered it inside, the pink that had leaped to his rainbow scales dying down by the pressure of lime green. "I ain't ganna cry." He replied as soft as a breeze. "I don't cry." He didn't dare look behind him for two reasons,1 'Where the heck did he go?!?' 2,he didn't want to draw attention to the fact that he was there.

There was a great cry in the goblin camp. Goblins leaped to their feet, hissing and scuttling about, as a large creature sauntered out of the forest into the middle of the encampment. It was another goblin, only bigger, broader, and meaner-looking than its fellows. It wore a crimson uniform with brass buttons, the sleeves rolled up and the tails dragging along the ground. It also carried a curved blade, rusty bronze and jagged along the edge. In snarled and swaggered into the camp, the other goblins cringing away from it

Jason stiffened as his eyes widened at the larger creature, not afraid, but in more shock. His color changing scales drained of the pink and dark brown slid into the scales and he seemed to be matching the color of the cage around him,the rest of his scales slowly having the brown subtly slip into each individual scale smoothly.

"Shut up, ya pack of jabberin' dogs," the chief roared. "Worthless, the lot of ya! I been hard at work, raidin' the borderlands, an' what have you lot got to show me, eh? Nothin'! Not even a rabbit fer the stewpot. Ya make me sick." Ash was gone again, hiding.
By then, the goblin chief was by Jason's cage. He smacked the cage with the flat of his sword. "It's empty!"

Jason almost cried out,but he stayed as still as he could. His breathing was shallow and short so it couldn't be seen unless one looked very close.

Jason heard them but still didn't move,he listened closely to see if he could hear where they went but also to see if he could hear Ash at all.

The chief brought his sword down on the cage, splintering it open and just about cutting Jason's wing off.

Jason almost winced but stayed stone still other than his faint breathing. 'If I could slip to the side...just avoid the blade.' He thought.

The goblin chief lifts the cage up, shaking it around, showing everyone that it was empty. At the last second, before Jason falls to the ground and probably gives himself away, someone on horseback saves him, galloping away. The goblins are raging mad, and give chase.
