Emile dug his fingers into Zane's shoulder, probably too tight, but he was breathing really hard at this point. "Sorry, sorry," he muttered, wishing he had gone to the gym more so his leg was stronger.

No problem! Zane said. Cloud ran up behind Zane.

"So, what were you doing before that guy showed up?" Emile asked, jerking his head slightly towards Cloud.

Having a bad day. Turns out, having my lungs magically removed from my body and turned into a monster is what I needed to make my day a little... better! Zane chuckled.

"What was worse than losing your lungs?" Emile asked with a short laugh.

I didnt lose them, I have them right here! Zane said. He pointed at Cloud. Its exciting! A once in a life time experience! he said.

"Wait, so you're saying the snake is my leg?" Emile asking, looking at the snake in disbelief.

Thats my theory! Zane said. He reached down quickly and Pet Cloud. I think this because Cloud appeared right after I lost my breath and once he appeared a bright glowing spot appeared on my chest wear my lungs are located. Its a somewhat logical explanation. he said.

Emile grinned. "I guess that is pretty cool. Although I have so many questions," he said, glancing at the moody, aloof snake slithering ahead of him.

Alyssa stretched, yawning. Her parents and brother weren't awake, so she opened the window and shimmied down the fire escape, holding on to her hat to keep it from blowing away. Just as she was about to jump down, some sort of white shape slammed into her. She landed on the ground, but couldn't breathe. It ripped out of her solar plexus, like a weedy sea dragon or something. Two whoopee cushion looking wings filled with air and then contracted. Still, she couldn't breathe, but when she tried, the monster's wings filled. "So, you're my lungs. I've finally gone insane. In that case, let's go Leafy," Alyssa grumped, not sure where the name came from. The creature coiled up as she rested on it's snakelike body, then shot forward into the woods. When they reached the creek, it tried to stop, but she fell backwards. Surprisingly, nothing happened, and she realized that she didn't have to breathe at all. Leafy breathed for her. "Okay then. IM GOING NUTS!!!!!"
