"Ever heard of a cafeteria?" Max hissed quietly while Axel nodded eagerly. Axel handed the map she had over to Blue. In the corner it had messy writing that said, "Spikes that stiffen up? Why?" And in another corner, "Feathery wings?" Max didn't seem to notice that the map had that in the corners, mostly because he wasn't looking at it. Max got up and shoved something into his hoodie pocket. He flattened his spikes like a porcupine, then left the tent, Axel right behind him.

Walking up to a group of children, Kota shoved her hands in her pants pockets before approaching completely. "So these are the campers?" She said with a smile. "Nice to see I'm not the only girl at camp. Names Kota, it's nice to be spending time here with you all."

We can just walk straight into the cafeteria to get food without asking permission? My parents never let me come into the kitchen without persmission! Blue yelled as she ran after them.

"Who needs permission?" Max asked, but touched the scar on his cheek with a wince as Blue said 'parents.'
Axel blinked. "I was princess of the kingdom of Shadows. I never needed permission for anything!" Max just growled.
"Being a princess doesn't make you the most amazing person in the world, dummy." Axel seemed to shrink, just a bit at Max's words and the snarl that followed. Axel looked at Blue, maybe expecting her to help.

You were a princess? Cool! Blue said. She did not seem to notice what Max had said.

Axel looked at Blue worriedly. She and Axel would have to sleep in the same tent as this 'evil dragon demon,' as Austin called him. And Axel wanted to call Max just that. And she was still curious about the 'Maxwell' situation. But Max scared her enough to where she refused to ask him. She looked at Max, wondering about the thing he'd put in his hoodie pocket. What was it? Axel quickly got distracted from her thoughts though. "Yeah, it pays off, being a princess. The jewelry is cool, but I have to have bodyguards and follow a bunch of rules and stuff. And I have to wear DRESSES. Ugh." Axel showed Blue her dark purple pearl bracelet and her dark red/purple/pink seashell necklace.
