WHile she waited Minka sat and looked Over Katana Again before Speaking to Sam " She Is healthy Considering the scar tissue and old bite wounds she has. I stole a Vial of antiBiotics from a drugstore the other day... it should help if she has any internal infection and will prevent the lacerations on her pads from becoming infected as well..."

"I figured she'd have something wrong with her pads. She's been walking stiffly since I met her yesterday," Sam commented to himself, then addressed Minka, "You want her to stay here tomorrow? Or can she come with me to talk with Chloe and Ben? And there's the office building also. I'd like to go back there with her as well. Is that doable?"

Minka Looked Down at he paws and thought " yes..... but I warn you not to push her too hard the antibiotics will make her a bit drowsy.... and make sure she eats tomorrow morning before she drinks this.."

Sam nodded in acceptance, "That I can do. I'll make sure she takes a break at Chloe's before we go back to the office building."

Minka nodded " very Well..." she said Before sticking her paw into the white powder and shaking it off into the bowl. she picked up her bag and padded out silently.

"Thank you, Minka!" Sam called after her.

Turning back to Katana as Jackie walked in, he said, "We're going to need to move her to her room. Waking up with her friends in sight will help her relax."

"Yeah. I'll move her, if you go get a blanket?" she volunteered.

Tilting his head, he asked, "You sure?"

"I've carried you before, haven't I, pretty boy?" she smirked playfully.

Sam only laughed as he exited his room. Looking at Katana, Jackie tried to decide how it'd be best to carry her. Finally she settled on carrying her over her back. Chances were that Katana had been gripped by the scruff plenty of times before for less noble reasons. Sadists always had a thing for gripping the necks of those they considered their prey. Delta obviously liked feeling power over others, so it was definitely something he'd do.

Slipping under her, Jackie heaved Katana up onto her shoulders effortlessly and dragged her down the corridor to her room.

Thomas lifted His head As Jackie walked in with Katana " Wow it really did work" he said with a slight chuckle. Tikki opened her eyes slightly before she noticed Thomas Was there "Thomas!!! how did you, are you Okay!" Tikki spat with a burst of energy flying slightly in front of the mouse. Thomas Garbed her wings to get her to sit still " I'm Fine Tik..." he said with a smile. Tikki sighed with relief before curling up to fall back asleep next to the small mouse. he turned to Jackie "She Gonna be okay?"

Jackie let Katana down as gently as she could before she asked, "What worked?"

" The ear rubbing... Its one of her triggers" he looked at his paws as he sat on his haunches " When Delta would beat her pretty bad I'd Sneak in and rub her ears so shed fall asleep quickly.... It helped her not lose sleep over the pain...."

"Ah...so that's what you were doing," she said as Sam trotted in.

Letting the blanket unfurl as he dropped it on the floor, Sam took one edge in his jaws and dragged it across Katana.

Sam smiled, "She's a trooper, but everyone succumbs to rest eventually."
