"That's... I... I don't know what to say," Squirrel stammered. He thought about it for a while. "Ok, I'll do it," he said, straightening.

"Really?! A mission all my own! I'll do as best I can!" Canis barked as he dashed off. It wasn't until later that he relize die had no clue who the other wolves she spoke of where. He ran back jumping for joy. "What other wolves?" He yipped

Uru sighed. "Shadow! Anubis!" she answered Canis. Pain was throbbing in her hip. "Find Shadow and Anubis at the den sites." she said, pointing with her muzzle the way the den sites were.

"ok, 3 2 1!" She pressed hard, and a jolting pain went from the hip. The rogue pressed a bit harder, and then hip went into place. It throbbed even after she packed snow and ice on it. "Now, get her some food and water, and let her rest for a bit." the rogue then padded away, head low to the ground, following a hare trail. It started to snow after the rogue, and she soon disappeared, trail and sight.

Shadow kept a slow trot. It was snowing now, and all seemed peaceful.

Swordfern pounced on the rabbit, sunk her teeth into it's neck. Satisfied, she carried it to the dens.

"How are you feeling?" She asked Uru, pressing her nose to her shoulder encouragingly. Fire swirled in her deep blue eyes. "Tell me if you're cold, I can take care of it." She sat down next to her, staring after the stranger. "Thank you.."

Uru nodded. "I'll be fine. I'm not cold, in fact, i'm roasting." she said before freezeing her paws a bit, laying on her side. She whimpered, the hip was hurting. "Skit, den sites, now. I'll be there in a minute." she said, soon trying to stand. They were just barely 10 feet away from the dens. She stood.

skit nodded, running to her den. She had a feeling there was something about to happen. Uru wasn't happy.

Wepwawet tripped, landing snout-first into freezing snow, his eyes scrunching up reflexively. The adrenaline in his veins was replaced by regret. His stomach growled, and he sighed in annoyance, wishing he'd maybe scavenge around that she-wolf for a bit. He tiredly stood up, his legs somewhat sore. He sniffed out for something to follow.

When Desdemona attempted to stand back up, her efforts were thwarted by Ignotia scooping her up once again. He then tenderly set her down on his back before she could protest.

"You've has quite an eventful day, Desdemona. Why not try for a nap?" he nosed her cheek.

"I'm not...tired...though," she yawned back.

As Desdemona slipped into dreamland, Ignotia frowned. If his instincts were as sharp as they usually were, there were plenty of troubles they'd have to deal with in the future.
