"I actually kind of liked it..." Thief said, trailing off at the end, shuffling his feet awkwardly.

"It's very fitting" Blaze mewed, laughing.

"Please exit the slop room, training will begin shortly," the metallic voice said.

Feather went through the door to her cage as it closed behind her.

Razor, still chuckling, rumbled over to his door and walked inside.

Nightstalker gently licked Frost's face before leaping and gliding down, then added a playful,"Hurry up!" Before entering his cage.

Thief exited the slop room, and Blaze ran over to the food pile and grabbed a small fish before running back into her cage, hoping none of the humans would notice.

(Last question, is anyone going to die or do you know yet?)

Meko finished his fish and headed for the training room. "What do we do in here?" He asked feather.

"We train." Sara purred. "We train for the battles."

Smith followed them. "Question how are we going to train? Why don't we just fight?"

Molly growled at the cats and barked at them. "You heard the human, get going!"

Thief retreated to one corner of the room and started to lick himself, ignoring the fact that he was supposed to be training, and Blaze started jumping around and practicing all of her best fighting moves. While moving around and practicing fighting moves she accidentally backed into Molly.

Frost smiled and followed gliding down with much less grace. She stumbled as she landed and followed him into the room "I think my wolf fighting skills are ok, should we train our wings?" She asked stretching out her own wings and flapping them a little

They enter a training field with pale faces. They are at the edge with whistles. I hope they don't whistle at me Feather thought. We train, I guess you should practice running, and I will practice running and flying," she said as she started.

Razor turned to Smith,"We train because we need to get used to our new bodies."

"Yea," Nightstalker said,"We need to practice," he said as he took off flying up as high as he could before faltering and fluttering back down to try again.

One of the Whistlers (the trainers) pulled a whistle to its lips and blew hard. It hurt everybody's ears. The message was Everyone must train.

Frost snarled and growled at the pale things seeing them as a threat. She flew up and dove towards the one with the noise maker snagging it on the egg like thing at the top with the claw on the end of her wing. She flew back to Nightstalker landing proudly
