"F-Flight...?" Chep asked slowly. "A-Are y-you there..?"

Flight hears Chep's voice and see's that she is responding, Flight lies next to her and speaks in a motherly soft tone "Yes I'm here" Flight says

"I-I hurt, my head..." she closes her eyes.

Flight listens to Chep and is almost in tears, "it's only a cut, you will be ok" she says then sweeps her tail around Chep and lays beside her. 'please let her be ok' she prays silently and small tears trickle down from her eyes

Chep saw the light, literally. She opened her eyes and she was in some sort of dream land(She ain't dead).

Flight calmed down and the group of lions was leaving, each giving a great apology to her and Chep for everything. Flight looks at Chep, her eyes are closed. Flight worries for a second but see's Chep breathing. she was asleep. the gray and gold lioness the lead the group approached with her head drooping and tail being dragged in the dirt. "I'm sorry" she said and her eyes glitter with tears and she flopped to the ground and kept murmuring sorry over and over to Chep

Backstory: After their pride died out, their mother tried to find another tribe to join with her young cubs, but she was pushed away time after time. She got weaker after two of her cubs died of starvation. When a third died she gave up and joined them leaving her final two alone. (Glas and Ika)

Start Paragraph:

Glas tugged at his sister's ear. A hyena cackled only a few meters away. His sister had always tried to help him, stuffing berries in his mouth when he collapsed, trying to keep him from the same fate as their family. Now she was cold,and starving and there was nothing her could do to wake her. He curled up, trying to share his body heat with her. At a loss of what to do he mewled for their mother to come back with food.

Vulonsos, having left the unresponsive cub, notices the hyena. She sprints in the direction it came from, ready for another fight. Her stride covers ground quickly, even at an easy lope.

Glas caught a new smell. A strange lion was racing towards the hyena. He tugged at Ika's ear again, hoping that she would notice too. However she remained still. Glas mewled loud as he could trying to urge the lion on.

Vulonsos roars as she approaches, her challenge echoing over the desert. The hyena seems to recognize Vulonsos and flees. She turns her head to Glas and Ika.
"Hello, little ones. Did anything hurt you?"
