Oh my gosh, i'm a bit of a rock nerd so i know of a lot of cool ones. You should see a princess cut moonstone, especially one with few flaws like this one? Look at how it just GLOWS! Just be careful you're not looking at Opalite--that's just pretty glass(like dragon's breath opal). On the other hand, sunstone is super sparkly, a lot like the way water looks at sunset. And while it's not precious, tree agate is FASCINATING. The color's off, but here's a closeup of the awesome details on one of mine! It's a white stone with clear sections that have thin green filaments in them. Had to break the news to my mom that all the 'jade' carvings we had were actually Aventurine. I almost did Larimar and Blue Amber, those are two other favorites of mine. Larimar looks like water, and Blue Amber is amber that sorta glows blue under UV light! But they didn't come out as well as my entry so. I'm still tweaking them, i'll probably add 'em to my entry as far as projects go.

I did a mockup of how i'd redo my starter if i could, but i agree, my baby is my baby.

Heh, i don't get a lot of essences that i actually want though! I play when i get bored, it's allegedly rigged to let you win if you haven't for awhile. Oh, ha! i'm about to start a three person art collab thingy with her and one other person! Working out the details as of now, heh.

I do a lot of random breeding, which means i often get surprised with great pets, and then i usually replace ones that aren't as cool or useful and i'm not attached to. And anything i don't want is for sale. Anything else that isn't a project or purchased gets released, like 90% of my hatchery will be gone if no one buys them. So, 15 tabs will end up being like, one stable tab.

Oh? Oh man, that's awesome! Well i'm still gonna save up, but somehow i lost 100 diamonds and the transaction log doesn't show it so. With the crash the other day, who knows?

Wow! I looked up those rocks and they're awesome! Not the usually pretty ones, they're not very commonly known, but gosh they're gorgeous. My favourites were moonstone, larimar and the sunstone =3

Well, i did say i loove pretty, shiny sparkly stuff... that includes rocks, trust me. We have 2 amethyst rocks at home, th kind that is rock on the outside but cut inhalf so the gem inside shows. One used to be right by my bed head :D It was very spiky though.

Yeah, i did that but now it's all condensed into the pets i do care about, so really, no room. A lot of my hatchery is project pets though, so once i finish, they'll go too.

Rocks are amazing. I started collecting 'em when i was little, mostly dyed agates and stuff, then i got back into it this year and i'm far more serious about it. But that means cool stuff, like learning Citrine ans Amethyst can form next to each other and be cut into Ametrine pieces, or that Emerald and Aquamarine are essentially the same rock, clear beryl, but they had a different metal ions that occur when they were form, giving them colors and in the case of emeralds, patterns, that make them unique. And the fact that things like the moonstone glow effect or the star/cat's eye effects occur naturally is just incredible.

She was kinda mad my reborn hobby means she found out her buying rocks for symbolism went wrong. Sorta, since they both symbolize good luck, so it wasn't the worst.

Like i said, i made three, kept tweaking till i was like THAT ONE IS DONE. I sorta knew i wanted to use the stone i did, but then i was like how DO i do that? Then i looked for refs, saw one that made me remember some genes that could work and they did! I spent an hour moving the colors around so they'd look juuust right, tweaking the colors by like three hexes lmao. But it was the one that matched the ref best and also looked good on its own--the other two only fit one of those each. My Blue Amber Bulb matched so well but it looked so weird, i mean it was a weird blue with yellow/orange accents and it just didn't fit...

Me too. I actually keep a bottle of superfine glitter i sometimes blow into the air, makes the air glimmer! Messy, though, so i don't do it a lot. Ahh yeah, the geodes? Most of my collection is tumbled, since i get most of mine from souvenir shops. On your bed? Yeesh, i'd be scared of it falling on my head, i toss and turn a lot!

Yeah, i had a phase in my life too. I collected anything that was rocky and pretty, but i got over that.. i think mum threw all those rocks out.. or maybe she put them on those plants.. eh, i was still very little. Now i just collect casually any rocks that take my fancy. We went past a stream last holidays when we went bushwalking. I was dipping my feet in and realized there were some rocks with beautiful shapes so i got a few of those :P Terribly heavy in my pocket though, i thought my hip bones might crack XD But mum was the lucky one, she found this clear crystal amongst the mud, she was actually aiming for another rock i'd told her to get for me, but she accidentally picked that up! You could'nt see it in the water, it was a great surprise. I have no idea what it is but mum loves it, we all got super excited. It was pointy at the top, very clear with some minor crackling and very flat smooth sides. It was real pretty :3 We still have it on mum's table :D Oh and i just loooove the glowing effects, it's my favourite. Which is why i like opals and the moonstones so much! Love pearls too =3

I went through my 'mature' phase, which was actually a load of crap and i was a pretty judgemental and nasty person(people'd say i'm nice but i'm way more considerate and genuinely open minded now), and i picked out like 10 rocks and threw the rest out. Huge regrets now, i mighta had something good!

Yup! I got suuuper lucky, the first round was a theme i was familiar with. I wanted to do moonstone, bt i couldn't figure out how to make the glow. But then i found the ref i used and i was like CROSS FOX+STAR RUNES+FLOWER VINES. Cross Fox for the glow, star runes for the wispy flaw lines, and flower vines for the flower on the pendant. We'll see how i do with the next one! Do you want a boy or a girl or both? Both'll cost more, but it's gonna be some time before i start it so.

Your Aeri was gorgeous, by the way. I gotta ask though, did your ref get swapped with the one below yours? They both look like the other ref, and i think that mighta affected the voting a bit...The next theme is not gonna go as quickly for me, i can garuntee that! I might not do as well, either, all the covers i'm thinking of aren't panning out in my mind, i might have to settle for a less cool cover...no, wait, i think i might have at least one that'll work...

Yeah it's like, welp this color was slightly more yellow when i picked it, it must be better even if i can't see it! Also, my phone and laptop have completely different color settings, everything's super vibrant on my phone, but dull on my laptop. No clue which is right, either!

Well, i do the vacuuming so if anyone has to clean it, it's me! Otherwise i wouldn't be so careless, heh. I have this piece of flawed Chrysoprase, when it's more or less unflawed it's pretty but not all that special, but when it's got the outer rocky part and you shine a flashlight through it? It looks like a small piece of ocean in your hand, a slightly cloudy sea green with furry seaweed in it. Of course it's all rock, no ocean, but it's so stunning!

Ha, i posted a terrible shot in the 'what do you look like irl' thread, might replace it or just make a new post. My hair needed a cut a week ago, it's all fluffy and out of control now. It used to be long, but i'd spend so much time washing in the shower that i was like Y'KNOW WHAT. BYE. And got it chopped as short as my mom'd let me. She thinks i'll grow it out eventually but nah, i like it short. Sometimes i miss it, but hey, i wanna get into cosplay, i can get a wig! Plus i can do literally nothing with it and no one notices, because they only think i did something with it if it's perfectly flat ironed OTL

I CAN WRITE A LOT TOO. I'm usually shy, too, but once i'm comfortable someplace i border on obnoxious T_T God i stretch pages, can't wait for a spoiler code to be implemented, then i'll be writing essays that can disappear into a single line!

This particular one is one person does a sketch, the next lines that sketch, and then a third colors the lineart, and then they rotate places and do another, and rotate again for a third picture, so that each person sketches, lines, and colors! Since the first two stages are confined to one layer each, it should be easy to put together. I'm super excited, it appears we've got some nice themes so.

I'm not going anywhere, plus it'll be good to help me control my spending XD

ohhhh, that sounds awesome! That's gonna be great! I had friends who did something like that, except they each had their own strengths so they didn't rotate. One was good at colouring, the other good at sketching, the other good at lining... but i think the liner and sketcher switched around a bit and the colouring person occasionally got to sketch as well.

I suggest picking a classic book, since they always have multiple covers, and you'll have a bigger selection while searching fewer books! I have my collection in my room, i need a decent storage/display system but for now they just sit there on my bookcase. I wish i had a decent desk, but mine was moved into where there's currently a baby changing station so i don't spend much time in there if i don't have to! In fact i usually set up my laptop on the kitchen table to draw...

And then every time i needed to shave, it was like an hour of water running, which totally isn't good for the environment OR the water bill...i do miss being able to braid it, but y'know what, that's what dolls are for! (And half sisters when they're old enough...right now if you try to fix her hair she screams bloody murder...but she can tug on mine all the time, sure!)

Ahh, yeah. Some essays are interesting to read, at least, like theories on fictional universes and stuff! I...have read some long theories. Once read an essay summarizing an entire show explaining per episode how two characters' had their relationship grow.

I think it's nice, because there's no real focus on 'strength', so much as a fun thing to do. I kinda hate when things get technical, 'cause as long as you're trying your hardest, why should anyone be 'better' than anyone else, y'know? People half my age can have twice my 'talent', that doesn't make my stuff worse or theirs better!

I keep looking at those round foldup chairs, but i can't even afford face wash right now OTL i need a room makeover. Well first i need a million bucks but y'know.

I couldn't when i was little, but then i was like I'M GONNA LEARN and i'd try a braid and run out asking my mom how it looked. I notice not looking in the mirror helps, i focus on what i feel instead of what i see.

Fun fact, starting in 4th grade all the way to...well, now, i had so much trouble with essays that it led to a lot of late nights and crying. In 8th grade i dissected a frog, even held frog intestines the day before my birthday, just so i wouldn't have write an essay. So i get it!

Yeah, i actually tend to like blue books too, i'm not sure why. My brain thinks books with blue covers are good books :P They can be too, but yeah, the blurb makes up my mind. Some covers have magnificent artwork, i read one a while ago like that, could not resist reading it because the cover was sooo nice, it was iri shiny too! It was a really good book too! Couldn't stop reading and i got a little bit sad when i got to the end. It was really good, probably a little childish now but back then i loved it!

Yeah, they're new so not many people would have them, but it also means people who do have less chance of having other traits along with them.. maybe. Zolnixis usually have lots of traits :P But i personally find essences easier, saves on dyes too. Takes longer to collect though.

I can't feel my hair, it just feels like hair is everywhere and everything knots and it's all messy. Then my arms get tired and i get really frustrated and i start tugging my hair which hurts which makes me more frustrated, then i give up. Best i can do is a plait, i'm good at those :D But i like buns more and i usually wear my hear in a high ponytail. I always want to do cool things with my hair but it never seems to work out too well.

I used to find writing really easy, now it's getting so much harder because the expectations are so high and stuff... and you get like 10 essays at a time and teachers always make them due around the same time so it get really stressful. But that's life, a lot of late nights... and a lot of chocolate X3
