Moonshadow

I ran into the forest to hunt. I wanted to ask someone to come, but they were all occupied. Mitsuki was still asleep and Tako and Miyako were talking. I checked for any scents when I caught a scent that sent a chill up my spine. It was the smell of metal and humans. My hackles rose and I turned to follow the scent. The trees around the scent path were broken and the ground was packed hard. When I reached the end of the trail, I gasped. In front of me was a camp. Tents clustered in a group with humans milling between them. Racks and racks of guns were stationed every few feet and trucks waited, hunched at the edge of the camp. "Hunters!" I snarled. I sprinted away from the clearing when I heard them shouting and the clang of guns. I shadow shielded myself and ran off the trail. They looked around in confusion and walked back to their camp, while I sprinted into the clearing of our den. "Hunters!" I yelled, gasping for breath. My brother acted perfectly calm and turned back to Miyako. I sighed. He never seemed to be surprised or scared. I decided to do what he said and sprawled out in a sunny spot to sleep, but I was to worried. I stood up and began to pace the clearing.

Tako

"Where are you from?" I asked her. Suddenly, I heard a shadow yelling. I turned to see a blob of shadow before it turned into Moonshadow. "Hunters! To the west, about a mile. A whole camp!" she yelled. "Calm down! We'll all go check it out later at night," I told her. We couldn't do anything now so there was no use panicking. I turned back to Miyako. "So, where are you from?" I asked her again.

(I won't be on next week either. You guys can use my characters)

(Thats fine, ill probaly be getting ready for the upcoming schoolyear)
(Since both of you are busy, the story might go strange places, i have a strange mindXD)

I can do some this week, mayby next week. So its fine. Ill just ping you both on the first i do, so you start at the right place to know whats happening

Moonshadow

I glared at Tako from my spot across the clearing. He was always so sensible and made her look very rash. Springing to my feet, I decided to patrol the area to look for any other dangers. I sprinted out of the clearing and into the forest. I caught the whiff of a rabbit, and changed course. The rabbit zigzagged through the bushes. I pounced on it and broke its neck with one bite. I carried it in my mouth as I traveled up the mountain. I finally crested the ridge. The mountain gave way to foothills which rolled on for miles. I looked back the way I came, but the trees blocked most of the view. I grumbled and sprinted back toward the den, following the scent trail I had left. I reached the clearing and put the rabbit down.

I walked off, not answering takos question. "We need to be ready to leave, this place is no longer safe." I called. "We should leave tomarro" i continued. Then i walked into the large cave id once bee trapped in. Ugh, still not comfy in there. So i walked back out and trotted to my favorite tree, leaping from branch to branch to get to a good observing spot. There i sat and watched the clearing. Moonshadow bringing in fresh kill. Tako standing indignantly near the entrence, guarding camp. And mitsuki of who knows where, doing who knows what.
