The kitchen was cold and empty.

Yawning Kai lays down on the cold wooden floor.

Kaladin shivered, then retreated. "Did I sleep in too late or...?"

"No most people aren't here," Nathanial answers, "and the Captain left early this morning before dawn. I can fix gruel if you're that hungry though."

Kaladin shrugged, then glanced over at Kai. "Os that alright with you?"

Kai got up on a chair and sniffed Nathanial's bowl then gagged, No.

"Alright, hunting is is then. Thanks for the offer Nathaniel." Kaladin dismissed.

"Anytime and if you see the Captain tell him Yannis is looking for him."
Kai walks out on deck feeling the crisp, cold air.

"Nnh..." Kaladin shivered as a particularly cold gust of wind rustled his fur. "I-I should probably change into something warmer..."

Kai breaths in deeply then goes over to Kaladin trying to warm him up.

(Kai's probably like 'You wimp. It's just a little cold weather.')

Kaladin glanced down at Kai appreciatively.
