You begin lowering the bucket and it goes down so far you cannot see it. After a good 10 minutes of lowering quickly, it seems to hit something.
I blink in surprise "Wow, that is a long way down. I wonder if there is a way to see what we hit?"

I meant for within the town.
Drew shook his head, "it'd be best if you stayed back to defend the town if this thing attacks here. Or you could be a fighter to defend the hunting or search party, but you'd have to keep up.

(Just realised my last reply didn't send, sorry!)
Large iron spikes burst out of the ground and caged the stag, who roared angrily. Your stomach feels twisted as you look around for whatever did it but couldn't see from the tree (It is not your magic since you have no magic levels)

The creature has completely knocked you unconscious. When you regain consciousness, your forehead is wet and you're under soft covers. You can barely see anything and your senses were tingling, you could barely move your muscles, "It's okay sweetie, we've got you." it was the voice of an old women.
