She swapped her t-shirt for a fresh one and stood at the sink, splashing water on her face. Some of it got on her hurt arm, turning streaks of dried blood a pale, runny red. She wiped the blood off with a damp paper towel, working around Alister's t-shirt. Then she dug her hairbrush out of her bag and combed her hair back, tying it up in a knot.

Alister made the.. food.. he got for her look nice before going to freshen up himself. Some truck stops had showers and.. this one did. He would be spending a long time in there.

She ripped a part of her shirt so she could re-bandage her arm.

Alister took a nice relaxing shower and headed back to the car, dressed in a new outfit... and glowing with the energy of an angel.

Electa returned to the truck a little later. When she was in her seat again, she said, "to tell you the truth, I think our options are pretty limited."

" And I would agree.. I don't know what to do, or where to go. "

"I think that for right now, just keeping alive is a pretty good goal. How would you feel about going underground for a while? It'll give us some breathing room, so we can try to figure out what to do."

She didn't notice at the moment. "Okay. I know a place where we can go."

" We can set off that way tomorrow. I need to inspect the car, I think there is a tracker on this truck. Today.. we both need rest. And I need you to rest and heal. "
