Kaladin flashed Bella a smile. "Hello there omncane," He greeted. "How are you doing?"

Bella frowns pointing at the door which has a growl coming from behind it, then she hides behind Kaladin.
Kai looks up at Kaladin, I'll babysit you go find out about the moster of your pacient.

"Thank you." Kaladin spoke, giving both Kai and Bella a reassuring pat on the head before walking over to the door.

"What!?" Skipper bellows as he checkmates Douglas again, "Checkmate."
Douglas sighs and tips his king over before standing up.

Kaladin winced, exhaled, then knocked.

Skipper growls at Douglas, "What is your issue today huh? You haven't even read with Bella today like you normally do."
"Someone wants in," Douglas points out.
"Come in," Skipper says still fuming.

Kaladin hesitantly stepped inside. "Sorry, is this a bad time?" He asked.

Skipper looks at Kaladin then Douglas and back to Kaladin, "Maybe you can shake some answers out of him."
Douglas looks at Skipper, "I'm fine."
"The last twenty minutes says otherwise."

Kaladin looked at the chessboard, then over at Douglas. "He checkmated you?"

"Five times," Skipper adds.
"I wasn't really playing guess I'm distracted," Douglas mutters.
"Ya think?"
