Electa blew out a breath. "Okay, well...we'd better get away from here. Try to figure out what we're going to do."

( I don't think an angel can drain an angel, even if he is only half xd Buuut it would be cool if the angel drained some of the angel in him by accident as he seems human.. and he is hurt, but now this angel can come back? Ooor his life force was drained but not in the normal way. Instead of it being like a human, it sort of makes him less human for a time? )

Alister nodded, and let her go. He inspected her and made sure she wasn't hurt in any way before finally getting into the car and starting it back up.

(Oooh...I like the less human idea, if you're fine with it)

She climbed back into the truck, holding her wounded arm

( Hmmm... okay.. which emotion(s) should he lose until... the next angel attack which bring sit back to him? unless you have other ideas. Ooor he could literally be more angel until the next angel attack. )

Alister again started to drive, but seemed a lot more on edge. Every few minutes he looked around scanning the area for danger.

(I'm not sure...)

Soon, they were back on the highway.

( We have some time to think xd I was thinking- Empathy, Sympathy, Compassion, and.. love. Or he literally is a beacan for awhile that leads some AK's to them. )

Alister wondered if it would be safer to cross a border.. there would be less AK's, right? Or maybe go to a remote area or something.

There was a rest stop about an hour down the highway that Electa told him to stop at.

( Yes.. yes we could. )

Alister did as told and stopped at the rest stop. It was a colder night so he'd lend Electra his blanket.. Though, he almost felt like it wasn't worth it.

It was a brown-painted building with vending machines on its porch and a few empty picnic tables scattered about. Electa got out of the car and went to the ladies' room to change her shirt.

Alister pushed that thought away and went to get them both something to eat.. though there wasn't very many options for food. He got them both something nice, and went back to the car. He used the stuff he had packed to make it as comfortable as possible. Electra would need it.
