Hagin smirked, "Ever wondered what made Ajal the way he is now? The answer to that question is this little pen a microrobotsizer.* Eggman may have degisned it as a fake out for the Resistance but I brought it too life."

(*That is accually in the Sonic Underground episode Three Hedgehogs and a Baby episode. I am using the design Sonia found on the screen that was the pen.)

Ajal dodged and punched Knuckles in the chest.

Knuckles stumbled back, but recovered quickly and retaliated.

Ajal jumped and attacked Knuckles at the same time Knuckles attacked him.
Selkie arrived on the scene and quickly assesed the situation, Guardian I want to help you so don't attack me. Selkie became tangable for a second and used a water attack from the rain on Ajal before going back to ghost form. The scent only made Ajal angerier and he attacked Selkie hit him again, I don't want to hurt you.


"Yes I did now pick your poison," Hagin spoke his voice calm and collected almost to the point of being bored.

Knuckles glared at Selkie in annoyance, but was too focused on Ajal to argue. He instead sprang forward and pinned the wolf to wet stone platform.

Rookie grimmaced and let out a short whimper.

Kaladin stalked the nearby underbrush, having borrowed a wolf on the way. Just need to get him free and make sure he gets away safely. Easy. He told himself, before loosing a howl and bounding forward.

Hagin summoned his Phantom Ruby, "Stop right there ghost or get blasted to the next the miliemun."


Ajal bit down hard on Knuckles's arm.
Selkie looked at Knuckles, You got this?

Kaladin growled softly and advanced a step. It was strange; he felt quite confident in the wolf's stature.
Just then, small sphere of light materialized behind Hagin. Are you willing to bet? A voice confident voice whispered.

Knuckles snarled and swatted Ajal away with a blow from his free arm. "Yes." The echidna pointedly replied.

"Another ghost," Hagin muttered sounding just as confident, "I have dealt with your kind before."

Selkie ran to where Kaladin was, Not him again.
Ajal growled and tried again.

Kaladin's ears perked up, recognizing the voice. No, you should listen to him. You haven't dealt with his kind.

He is right. The spirit replied. You either die serving Void or you die fighting me. He paused, then added in the same tone Hagin had talked to Rookie, Pick your poison.

Ajal growled again still worse trying to escape. The toxic green in Ajal's eye getting brighter causeing the chip to act with greater intensity.

"I serve no one aside from myself," Hagin growled barely touching Rookie with the pen. It sent a chip just inside his skin which connected to Gadget's nerves. "Besides I've fought ghosts before including my own flesh and blood brother."
