(...Something in Sandopolis, maybe? An object connected to a spirit? Teleporter? Or a Warp Ring; Special zones sound up Hagin's ally.)

"W-what was that...?" Rookie managed, periferals bluring slightly.

(NVM just looked it up)
Hagin eased his grip ever so lightly while holding a knife to Rookie's throat, "The Warp Ring? Tell me where it is or you and your friend will end up like what will happen to the gaurdian of the emerald."

Selkie frowned at the storm, Kaladin something isn't right.

Ajal stalked to where he could see the Emerald and Knuckles.

(The gate way to Special Zones. These... Weird chaotic pocket dimensions where everything is moving constantly, so I always assumed they're made almost entirely out of Chaos energy. Not much is known for sure about them.)

Rookie's eyes widened at the mention of Knuckles, but decided it was better not to ask about that just yet. "Warp Ring? You're asking the wrong p-person, I-I'm not really sure. Sonic t-told me about them, but..." Rookie said, not really breathing much better even though Hagin's grip had loosened.

"....'Something'?" Kaladin asked.

Knuckles' eyes slid open, sensing Ajal approach. Slowly, the echidna rose to his feet and clenched his fists at his sides. His rain-drenched fur and barred fangs gave him a wild appearance. The Master Emerald provided a dramatic backlight, it's radiant glow dispersing into the surrounding mists.

The Guardian lowered his head as he stared Ajal down. Go on. Do it. Give me a reason to knock you out. His eyes seemed to dare him.

Selkie looked Kaladin in the eyes with a determined look, An enemy and a controled allie on the island. I'm going to try and stop them you can either come with or stay here.

Ajal growled and used a lighting fast very hard attack.

"I don't want excuses pup I want answers," Hagin tightened his grip, "What did the blue menis tell you?! Where are the Special Rings?"

Kaladin hesitated. "...I'm.... I'm coming." He agreed.

"He only told me that they lead to these weird places called Special Zones!" Rookie yelped.

Knuckles snapped his fist up and responded with a counterattack. While not bone-shattering, the sheer force behind the blow was enough to let Ajal he wasn't in the mood for games.

Ajal took a half step back then sprung into a variety of hard and fast paced attacks.

Let's go, Selkie used the storm to his advantage to get up to the island.


"What are the Special Zones," Hagin growled, "my pacience is growing short as is your chance of surviving if you don't tell me what I want to know." His pacience was near gone but he had a valuable resource in his hands and he knew it.

"I-I'm not exactly sure, I didn't ask for any details...."

Knuckles wasn't nearly as swift as Sonic, but that didn't mean he was sluggish. Not by a long shot. The echidna kept a steady gaze as he matched Ajal blow for blow.

Kaladin was slowed by the interfereing wind and rain, but that didn't stop him.

Selkie looked back and forth in the direction of the M.E, and in Rookie's direction, Kaladin two problems split up?

Hagin got out his Phantom Ruy, "You know what this is puppy and what it can do? Now I perfer to not use this here but this little gem gets fed off of my fustration and anger...'' The Phantom Ruby sparked, 'and it wants something to feed that rage.''

Ajal attacked mercilessly and kept adding on speed and power.

Split up. Take your pick. Kaladin replied.

Rookie swallowed hard. He knew exactly what that was. "Urf..."

Knuckles had no issues adjusting to this. After a minute or so of this, however, the echidna grew weary of Ajal doing all of the attacking. Fangs barred, he pulled back a fist and landed a swift and powerful blow to the attacker's diaphram.

Ajal took a couple of steps back and reatiliated.


"Now there is another option," At this Hagin dismissed the Ruby and pulled out a pen, "this little gadget of Eddman's desgn with my own little ajustments."

Put it this way there is a hostage situation with a very scary wolf or a full out brawl, Selkie muttered using the rain to show him what was happening.
