Rookie was forced back a bit as he couldn't dodge, but he was smart enough to keep his guard up. "Urf..."

Ajal went in for another attack this time going after the wispin trying to break it.

Unfortunately for Ajal, the Wispon was quite durable as it was designed to withstand the intense heat Red Wisps could generate, as well as the pressure that went along with the explosive nature of the blazing projectiles it launched.

Rookie hopped to the side a little as Ajal attacked. Almost automatically, he followed up by firing his grappling cable at his legs, hoping to tie the attacker down if only for a few seconds.

Ajal grabbed the grappling cable and pulled as hard as he could planning on tying Rookie up and letting the guild use him for target pratice.

Rookie grimmaced. Where's Knuckles when you need him...?! He thought. "Fine. You want the line? Keep the line." He told Ajal. He quickly detatched the tight cable and, taking advantage of his distance between them and his surperior speed, fled, the fog hiding him from view, the wind and thunder drowning out his footfalls and paniced breathing, and the rain washing away his scent and footprints.

Ajal threw down the line and stalked into the underbrush going in the direction of the M.E.

Rookie didn't know how far he had ran, but he was soon forced to take shelter in a dense undergrowth when the wind picked up. "What was that all about?" He softly asked Burst, holding the Wisp close.

Suddendly a hand grabbed the back of Rookie's neck, "So he brought a friend? How cute a little wolf pup." Hagin snickered, "This will be fun."

Rookie looked up at Hagin in alarm. "H-how did you get up here?!"
Burst chirpped irritatedly.

Hagin squeezed a nerve on Rookie's neck, "You are going to tell me what I want to know or else. Where is"
A crack of thunder sounded as Hagin said the last word.
