"That's only a day though. That's not even a long time," She said with a sigh as she scratched the ground, causing a not so nice noise.

He flinched. "Still. It's been a long day, and a day that has let me grow quite find of you.

She huffed, "No you haven't, your lying. Everyone is always lying, maybe if I... kill them they'll stop. Stop being bad."

He gently put Soultice down. "Oh yeah? No killing, but tell me this. Soultice would know if you are good or bad, and I bet he knows your very good!"

Soultice nodded in agreement, sitting down gently.

Ruby huffed, rolling her eyes but not saying anything in reply... or anything at all.

Dexter put an arm gently around Ruby. "Your a good person, trust me. I'd know, I've met plenty of bad people. You're nothing close to bad."

Ruby didn't say anything, though she seemed calmer now, she leaned against him as she listened to him.

"I remember after Misery left, you greeted me kindly. Not in any way that showed you were afraid of a jerk like me. You just introduced yourself." He said.
