(My fam do,they usually try to get me in on it but then I almost puke at the kissing because it's all smooshy and weird)
D didn't know what a beach was so she was more curious about the sand and water than the people as they spoke and enjoyed eachothers company. The boy said something and then they started chasing one another into the waves and splashing happily.

(Yeah,it just feels less....weird. I don't like watching people on a screen face smoosh and stuff like that.)

Eventually, it got dark and the people had to go home. Kate had wondered why she didn't watch these movies a lot and now she remembered why

D leaned her head against Kate's head a bit,being gentle,and sighed softly. She soon fell to sleep,more a haze than anything.

Kate turned off the movie, having enough of it anyway. She nestled into D and soon fell asleep as well
