Kit just gave him an angry look and hissed angrily.

Val stared at the ground a moment before asking, "How do you think Holt and Shadow are doing?"

Red appeared to consider it for a moment. Shadow's marching to his own rythem, and Holt's probably struggling to keep up and brighten the mood. Probably. He replied.

"So impatient! Look, once we get outta this rain, you can try to tell me in cherades or something, deal?"

Val nodded, wondering if Holt and Shadow had encountered anyone bad at all. (Forgot what they were looking for *sweatdrop and nervous smile*)

Kit growled and whacked him upside the head with her tail, "Fine..." she grumbled.

Sonic sighed. "Ah, well."

Kit huffed and just glared ahead.

Val nodded, "Yeah, let's go." she said as she pushed off the wall.

Holt sighed, gazing at the rain from the shelter of a cafe awning. He glanced over at Shadow, who was standing a couple yards away and muttering to himself. "Where are those four? Should have been here already." He growled.

Val let out a sigh as she skated along the sidewalk.

Kit growled at Sonic as they made their way to the cafe where Holt and Shadow were waiting.

Shadow huffed upon seeing Sonic arrive. "Took you long enough."
"I had--!" Sonic glanced down at Kit briefly and she her down. "I had difficulties. At least I actually found something."
"That being?"
"I heard a shout."
"And?"
"I-I... uhm..."
"I'm waiting."
"Well, you see, I was gonna investigate, but then--" Sonic gestured to Kit. "This happened."
