She gripped her leg in pain, on the verge of crying. "Hexic... help me... please..." she whispered.

Scias hadn't taken well to the plan at first, but on hearing Corasi's voice, he realized just what this job was. And how wrong it was.
He felt his current pick up in apprehension and without thinking, bolted to her, tackling Zeth to the ground in his Daarizi form, unable to maintain his human-like appearance with his rising dread and anger.
"Don't even think about it, Zeth."
He growled at her, lashing his tails behind him.

Zeth*

She struggled under his grip, trying her best to shove him off. "What the hell! Get off!" she demanded. Zeth had managed to grab her dagger. As soon as she could feel it in her hand, she broke an arm loose and held the dagger to his neck.

Zeth's mind was in a jumble. She was worried for her life for a moment, but once she was able to get a grip of herself, she dropped the knife and stopped struggling. "Explain" Zethrin said, hoping that since she had relaxed, he would let her go.

Scias pinned her arm down with his claws.

"She's a ..friend. Leave her alone. Screw the money." He picked up the knife, keeping it in the air far away from her in case she managed to throw him off.

"S-Scias? What are you doing here?" She attempted to stand up but her leg bled more and she toppled over. "Guess I'm not getting up then..."



(Oh god I'm imagining all of this happening. This would make a good gacha video honestly.)

Zeth*

"Tch...Ow, damn. The claws? I-ow...is that really necessary?" Whoever she just shot clearly meant something to him, little sister maybe? She seemed young, but it wasn't impossible that this was his..."If she is so important, then get off me so I can get the bullet out and get her something to clean the wound with." She was still relaxed, having no intention of struggling again. If the well being of the target was that important to Scias, then zeth decided it was important to her too.

(It's like you're asking for them to be shipped.)

"So, who's the girl?" She crawled over to them. "She's cute, hint hint. I ship it."

(Well, I can't ship Scias with Corasi, she's too young to him and he just likes to big brother her to death, so. XD)

Scias flushed red at Corasi's teasing and pulled himself off Zeth with a bit of a growl.
"..Better not hurt her more."

He kept her knife on hand for good measure, electricity fizzling down off him as he started to calm down.

(Oh wait, i just now went back to look at Scias' ref pic, I didn't realize she was four years younger. I though she was just a year younger. Opps XD)

She was a bit flustered, but not enough that she couldn't hide it.

Zeth brushed herself off and pulled a cloth and some disinfectant out of her small pack. "Sorry..." Zeth said reluctantly, "Let's get you fixed up..." She finally realized Scias had her favorite knife. "Ohhh no, give it here." She demanded, quickly jumping up and holding her hand out expectantly. "If nothing else, I need it to remove the bullet." She was going to get the knife back if it killed her.
