He snarled in pain, jaws opening and showing a snake like tongue. It was long and red, used usually for sucking in magic or souls when he was feeding. He tried to bite her paws.

She was starting to choke a bit, but she didn't care. She used that moment to pull her paw free, trying to pry his hands off her neck.

He was pretty strong, but slowly she was able to pry his hands off a bit.
