Selene cautiously stepped over to Zach. "Zach, stop, this isn't you. You don't want to hurt anyone." She unsheathed her dagger and tried to cut the string on his bow. "You don't want to hurt anyone."

Zach shrugs you off, your dagger scratching his arm and not breaking the string. "How can you be so sure? How long have you known me? A few days? Maybe a week. Hahaha, how can you know who someone is in that little time?" His smile is cold and calculating as he releases the arrow. Charlotte tries to scoot back, but the arrow embeds itself into her leg and the floor beneath. Charlotte lets out a piercing scream, putting her hands to the wound before flopping onto the floor in a dead faint.
Something skitters behind Zach before climbing up him, the small creature coming to a rest on Zach's shoulder. It isn't anything you've seen before, but it could be a monster, and it could be controlling Zach. Or it could be an innocent creature from these parts and it may be controlled itself. Who knows?

"I know what Zach would do, and he wouldn't dare hurt anyone unless he had reason too." She tackles Zach and put her dagger onto his throat. She took the other dagger and threatened to pierce the small creature.

Zach struggles to get out from under you. He either doesn't seem to register that there is a dagger at his throat or he doesn't care. The creature scuttles backwards, crawling into Zach's pack. Something began whispering in your mind, things you didn't want to hear, things about death and destruction. The voice hunted at your past life to try and fuel your anger and get a hold of you in order to control you. Not that it said it wanted to control you.

"N-no! It's not all my fault! Get out of my mind!" She held he hands on her head. She tried to get into Zach's pack.

The creature rears up and bites your hand. Zach, now that you weren't holding a dagger to his throat, tackles you, glazed eyes narrowing. He keeps you away from the creature as it inches away.

"Have... to.. protect Charlotte..." Her face was strained as she tried to wiggle out under Zach. She yelped as it hurt her tremendously. "Get.. off."

Zach doesn't let up until the creature had safely disappeared again into the foilage. He seems to come out of his trance, extremely confused on why he was on top of Selene. He immediately gets off, apologizing profoundly.
Charlotte is out cold

"It's fine. It's not like you were trying to do anything, except kill me possibly." She shrugged. "And now Charlotte has fainted from blood loss. Great." She tried to take out the arrow in Charlotte's leg. "Please don't be in the artery, please don't be in the artery."

The arrow slides out of the girl's leg easily, only catching on bone for a few moments. Charlotte whimpers slightly in her unconscious state. Zach sucks in a breath, appalled, "I shot her?" He searches in his pack for something to bandage the wound. Upon finding some cloth, he wraps the wound and applies pressure. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to."
The blood flow was slowing, So that meant one of two things: she was dying or the wound was healing. Blood had soaked through the bandages and painted Zach's hands red.
