Jason realized these details as he woke drowsily and shrunk a bit into himself,wincing at the pain still in his base of his tail and running up his spine,but that wasn't the only pain. He hurt all over. He looked around a bit past the bars of the "cage" to see where he was,his heart pounding in fright and worry.

Beyond the bars, several mud pits sat in no particular arrangement around a large fire pit. The squat, ugly little creatures scampered to and fro around the camp, fighting, arguing, or gnawing on bones.

Jason watched the creatures silently,wincing as he thought 'what was that creature before...they where bones.' At this thought he swallowed hard.

One of them, shorter than its fellows and wearing a muddy red vest, saw that he was awake. With a hiss, it scuttled up to the cage and thrust its spear through the bars.

Jason tried to pull back but let out a small cry as his wings and back encountered the thorns. He bared his fangs and growled.

It was about to rush up and stab him through the bars on the opposite side before a voice said, "Greertig, stop pokin' the meat. Ain't no good if all the blood runs out." The voice came from a second, taller creature

He reverted his glare toward the taller creature,letting out a hiss that let ice particles spray a bit.
