"Yeah. And why'd you decide to come out this way?" Blue added, clearly having a much more optimistic view of the situation than his brother.

"sorry, you're staying here. once I broke the determination of a human." attio says to vantablack as he launches a blaster that blasts into a portal that moves to keep aim on vantablack.

Blue offered a confused patient smile. "Okay Mr. Currence...? What's the before and who's Apophis?"

Vantablack huffed, then sat down, tentacles raised to form a sort of dome over himself. "Will doing nothing convince you that I have no intent to go anywhere?" He asked, voice carrying a slight edge to it.

"the before exists outside of time essentially. apophis is attio's brother and is the 'malevolent demon'. he wants to conquer the underverse."

Vantablack narrowed his eyessockets, then rose back to his feet. No agression, at least not yet. "I'm not too keen on being bossed around in my own multiverse, whoever-you-are, but I may consider agreement on the condition that I get what I came all the way out here for."

"well...." says currence "not really. I came here to keep an eye on alphys. she may cause a very destructive attacks now. that is basically what apophis is. a big blast of death."

Papyrus nodded to Muffet as she passed out the orders.

Blue didn't seem discouraged by this news in the slightest. "Can I help??"

Vantablack's tentacles curled, seeming more than a little annoyed at this point. "Is a little information really too much to ask? Keep in mind, you're the one in my territory." He growled.

Before either could continue, a barrage of golden arrows rained down them, earning a couple swears from Vantablack. Silence was glaring down at both of them from a high ledge, ready to send down another wave.

"well you must be willing to put up with death at every step, chances of destroying universes, and practically almost being possed."

"My brother has guts of steel." Papyrus responded. "...Metaphorically speaking." He added after a brief pause.
