I just go to advanced search and input blah-dee-blah (whatever criteria you want for pet buying) and then pet id ascending and BOOM re-gens everywhere. Lunes are cheapest, Kelp are really expensive.

Yeah, that is what I do, I have learned how to find mostly regens.
Right now I have my eye on some nixis, but they are expensive.
