Ah well from page 6 to page 10 on this thread, me and lark were discussing worlds and worldbuilding if you want to take a look. I have a "Holy Wall of text" as lark put it on pg6 kind of explaining my world? But its more like, backstory than world xD

Most of my world notes are scattered in messenger as I've been discussing and rp-ing with Tom, so I'll have to dredge them up sometime a make them coherent on a google doc.

But to rundown:

My world is very fantasy. Harpys, Dragons, Vampires, Werewolves, you name it. It semi- medieval, and the continents/society are still pretty separated. By that I mean there isn't alot of diplomacy going on. Its basically modeled after Earth. North America, where all the scenes I've ever written take place, is called Ra' nye pronounced Roo-nigh. Because I love trying to spell things differently than how it sounds xD

But without going into much detail what I have so far is basically a rough society under threat from magical beasts, other criminals, etc. And instead of having police, they have sorcerers. Sorcerers just being licensed people with magical abilities. Its kind of boring tbh and I haven't found a way to shake it up yet. Like I said, I've only really been working on it seriously for the past month.

I wouldn't mind playing around with it
honestly all my fantasy characters are super underused these days since none of them have a "home" universe anymore to stick them in it kills me I miss my demons
It'd definitely need some tinkering to make room for some solid plot but it looks like it'd be a fun adventure setting.

I made a group fantasy setting a long time ago involving people having been born out of gods or demigods who had their powers stripped or lost from a time god messing with the universe to make himself the sole ruler of it (wow I sure write that a plot point a lot) that they all belonged to but it has been since been long abandoned after a run of like a year
So now all my fantasy guys have pretty much been kept in reserve since

So I was just going through Dev-art looking at others fantasy roleplay plots.

One of them mentioned something like society prejudices and stuff and working together. All that good stuff.

How about we doing something like...ahm this is a rather shaky idea now that im writing it out. But *somehow* our characters uhhh don't like eachother, maybe because they come from different continents that have--through history-- hated eachother for various reasons. But something changes and now -oh no- we have to work together (didnt see that coming). I....thats incredibly vague buyt how does that sound for an idea? xD Probably very drama inducing?

Here was the actual mini description plot they had: : Iastrimel, a world recovering from old wounds and within that world lies a fairly special cafe that seeks to mend the deep-rooted prejudice and hate among its inhabitants so brew a hot drink and join in unfolding the history behind an inn-turned-cafe and its many mysteries. Whatever your reason may be, you'll find a home in Moemoea Cafe!

Yeah no cafes xD But thats what sparked the idea.

I dont want to steal plots directly, but some of these are interesting (not the ...gjinka ones or whtv xD Obvsly not, but you get the idea) And we can always mash a few different ideas together

That is pretty incredibly vague idk

Could be fun. Most of my fantasy characters are trashy misfits when they're not straight up god beings

I'm currently writing an outlawed noble now werewolf barbarian in a setting with Rubycookie that ended up way more entertaining than he had any right to be. Since he got exiled from his nation and noble house after being cursed with dark magic by his own brother who wanted the house for himself.

Let's see who else I got here..

An fallen archangel that can see the exact moment when everyone around him can die thanks to the influence of a once sealed, world destroying demon who tricked him

An alchemist, wannabe dark sorcerer who accidentally summoned a wendigo into himself

A guy that's literally a phoenix and works as a desert bandit. Once a demigod, but no longer

An infant outer god with a human soul who ruins everything he touches

Two shadow controlling demons

A merman pirate who was also once a demigod, but no longer

A dark elf rogue

A dark elf knight

A high elf scholar

A gay avariel holy knight with a superiority complex

A wind dragoness

A clueless vampire woman who just works as a researcher on mystical beasts

And a god demon centipede from space who just jokes around as a mercenary around humans.

And then there's Lux, my universal monk and god killer from my sci-fi world who would probably work well as a fantasy character if I made him a kobold or something.

So uh
Basically what I got off the cuff as far as my own characters

Edit: going to check out that link

Oh god all your characters sound delightful x'D I don't think any of mine rival that but I can give it ago

A vampire who was never told not to play with fire as child, in a poly relationship with a human and a werewolf. Except him and the human basically hate eachother? But in a good way. They keep eachother snappy.

A pretty little birdy who is lowkey depressed all the time and likes cinnamon.

A scruffy adult male who rides dragons and looks like he crawled out of the desert. Fun.

A russian mermaid prince who hates being the heir, so he ran away to land were basically every takes advantage of his naivety.

Another birdy except this one will actually bite you and go for the eyes if you piss him off.

A sensible middle-eastern werewolf whose very in tune with nature. And smells like earth and spice.

A golden hearted human with the best/worst luck. Who is also a sappy romantic. And also a healer even though those are the people who see the worst of it. Technically a vigilante because he doesn't have a license.

A sister who is always worried sick about her pure hearted little brother. Works for the government and keps a creepy eye on him, because they were separated when young and he doesn't even know he has a sister.

A rough-around the edges red-headed faun who will stab you if you cross her wrong.

A gal whose kind of stupid but likes doing things like using her water ability to steal other peoples drinks.

A kind of not-really all there in the head anymore wind elf who wears a mask. And is feminine. For whatever reason. And can turn invisible.

A freckled ginger girl who always has her hair in braids and has an uncanny ability to make friends with just about everyone. Very chill, very cool, very ******.

An asian girl who is also pretty fond of knives and using them. Sensible and serious. Very not interested in people unless its about strategy.

And a gal whose eyes are literally poison.

Whew. Those all started with A I think.

Arsonist vampire and middle eastern werewolf sound cool. Same with faun girl.

So just out of glancing the ideas I found that seemed neat.

"group focused on working together as a guild to prevent the world from falling apart. Even if it means arguing with gods."

"group where the characters are transported to a fantasy world after their deaths and are given a second chance to live by the gods who are looking for entertainment."

"Servants of the gods trying to stop magic from ripping their lands apart in a dangerous game of truths and lies."

"A roleplay setting in Medieval Europe, in a township that has been afflicted by an occult plague."

I swear I've written these all before..

"group which takes place in 1729. The town is a sanctuary for creatures of all kind, however this safe haven has it's own dark secrets."

Also ran into a really interesting modern supernatural themed one I might steal involving therapists trying to convince myth based characters they aren't human, not sure how well that'd work for just the two of us though

The cynical roleplayer in me also likes this one:

"Ordinary people from the real world with creative skills are transported to a magical realm, where their skills become superpowers. These people fight to promote creativity and originality, against such enemies as unfinished ideas, writer's block, and Mary Sues."
