"Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Kick your butt next time, really lookin' forward to it!" Sonic smirked, waving dismissively. "Easy fight, not serious harm done. Just gotta find Knux and call it a night." He thought aloud before trotting down the street in a carefree fashion.

Rune watched him go

Tigerstripes shook his head as he watched Sonic walk away. "You're the first I've seen. I feel like a can faintly sense a few of us out there sometimes, but whether they will ever find their way to this planet I don't know. As for any ordinary Nekos I wouldn't be able to say." He smiled ironically to himself. "That's the thing about this world. Creatures like us blend in perfectly..." His expression clouded, "Of course the same could be said for the Cainars as well. I don't know if any of them survived. If they did I can only hope they don't end up here."

" I hope so too"

Tigerstripes shook of the thought. "Well seeing as I haven't used up too much energy tonight I could go for a light training exercise. Care to join me. I know an old junkyard that works well for the purpose."

" why not. If you like, you can train with the robot"

"It was halarious Knux!" Sonic exclaimed. "You shoulda seen his face, he looked so exasperated."
Knuckles merely nodded as the two made their way back to Tails' house. "Yeah?"
"Yeah! Hey, by the way, did you happen to see Blaze by any chance?"
Knuckles halted abruptly at the strange question. "No? Why would Blaze be here?"
"Eggman was grumbling about a 'feline freind' when I saw him." Sonic responded, earning a grimmace from the echidna. The hedgehog continued. "Then again, this is Eggman we're talking about. Coulda just been trying to phyce me out."

Tigerstripes nodded. "That would be helpful as the junk yard doesn't have much by way of equipment." He held out a paw. If you want to grab hold I can get us there in a jiffy."

" You seriously forgot why I wear gloves?"

Tigerstripes grinned. " Nope. Figured since you were wearing gloves I'd be safe enough. Besides it depends on which paw you use in the first place." He twitched one ear comically, "Although I would prefer it if you didn't use your marking paw."
