Alex looked up at Gale and gave an awkward chuckle at the mention of not being out for awhile. "No, not for a very long time. Probably back when I was a teenage elf. Then I went back to my cottage one day and just never came back here." He started contemplating what he was in the mood for tonight.

"Well don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you on your first day out." Gale answered after a moment. "I think I'm in the mood for some chicken and waffles, how about you?"

(Awesome! That's great! Hey would you be interested in adding in another couple? I've kinda forgotten how I was playing Gale off. Not that we would be leaving these two, but just a pick up in pace.)

Alec felt kind of warm and fuzzy inside when Gale promised to keep him safe on his first day back from the woods. He wrinkled his nose lightly at the mention of chicken and waffles. "They do not sound like they complement each other."

((Sure, I guess we could add another couple. What did you have in mind? And what do you mean by how you were playing Gale off?))

"Strangely they do, or so I think." Gale said. "But as I said you can order whatever you want really."

(I forgot his personality. And I really don't care, but I would like to play as a guy still.)

Alec gave a nod in response as they continued walking. He heaved a sigh, breath billowing in the cold.

He was quiet for most of the walk, stopping only as they reached the restaurant. He looked up at the doorframe eyeing the small sprig of mistletoe that hung there. Well, that changed things. He waited a moment before looking to his partner to see if he noticed.

Alec paused at the door as well, not looking up just yet. When he sensed they wouldn't be going inside immediately, he looked over at Gale. Then followed his gaze upwards. The tips of his pointy ears turned red. "Oh...."

"After you then." Gale smiled shyly. If the elf didn't wish to be wasn't going to force it, no matter how much he wanted it.

"Do you not see the mistletoe? We have to do it," Alec replied suddenly. "It doesn't have to be on the lips, of course." He smiled nervously, his brain demanding what in the what's he was doing.

That was all he needed as a consent. He quickly drew the elf close planting a kiss on his lips. The exchange lasted a few seconds before he pulled away again. "Come on then, you must be starving."
