Blue looked at Max. Hey grumpy, whats bothering ya? she asked.

"Have at them then!" He said holding the bag out to her.

The truck pulled up along side the cabin before the girl stepped out along with her father. "Bye dad!" Kota called before heading off to the tents. Yes! Finally dad let her come to the camp! Normally he wouldn't let her due to her not being a half breed until now. She was just like dad! Honestly she couldn't wait to show off to the other kids how cool her bear form was!

Max rolled his eyes. "Oh, nothing, it's not like my parents haven't forced me to come to this camp of eternal suffering. No, I'm fine."
Axel squeaked excitedly, "Aww, come on Maxwell, it's not like this place is that bad! Cheer up!" Max's eyes narrowed. She'd just called him Maxwell.

"I would've guessed manticore, but first impressions are often wrong"

Look at it this way, better than being locked up in a basement! Not fun. I actually get to talk to people, and they talk back! Blue said.

"They look quite similar, but manticore have scorpion tails. Chimera have snakes." He said with a shrug.

"And oh how much I wish you were mute so you wouldn't even say a word. And Axel, about the 'Maxwell' thing..." Max narrowed his eyes at Axel, who nervously laughed. Axel looked nervous. "Wait, locked in a basement!"

Blue growled. Fine! Be grumpy! Be rude! Be an all around terrible person to even be anywhere near! she yelled, then quickly covered her mouth as though she had said the worst possible thing one could say.

Max looked at her and smiled. "Well atleast someone here knows how to protect themselves." The spikes on his tail and back stood straight up, but wasn't in the stiff spikes they'd been when Max arrived. Axel looked confused, then quickly scribbled in her notepad.

Blue sat down. She looked absolutely ashamed of herself.

Axel looked at the map she had. "It says we have to be in bed by eight... what time is it?" Max rolled his eyes. "Like anyone can sleep in hell." Axel gave him a look. "Six." So they had some time to keep talking.
