"We don't need help!" She insisted, attempting to strap the driftwood together with the discarded hospital gowns. "I can do it!" Aria 's head suddenly snapped up as she caught the other boy creeping away. "HEY! Greed, get back here before I stab you with a piece of-"
Scott cut her off. "Aria, chill. I'm serious." He joined her side, helping to tie the knots with the thin fabric.

I gathered driftwood, and then, with an idea, I dug around under the dirt and unearthed a pole made of metal. I stuck it on the raft with one of the hospital gowns hanging from it upside down so the sail could be directed with the sleeves. "Does anyone have any tar or a flat board? Or a bottle of glue?" I had to admit I liked building things, but it chipped my nails and made my hands dirty.

Obelia tried to think of a way to help.. they had the hospital gown idea. Aha! Using a discarded "fabric" she waved up in case any planes saw

I snatched the cloth from her hand. "Don't do that. We don't WANT to be found by the government after what happened!" I didn't know why, but when I said it, I knew it was true. Then I brushed sand off of her arm and went back to securing driftwood into a floating object.
