I fold the paper and watch Josh and Rex follows the group. I decide that I don't want to go back to Earth. I call up to the group. "I'm not going back to Earth. They don't want people like us around. There isn't a place for us. I'm staying here in Solace. Leave if you would like, but know that it's unlikely to come back, and how will you be satisfied knowing there was magic in your reach and you gave it up?" I turn, spread my wings and hover. "I'm going to live in the abandoned caverns. If anyone wants to come, the caverns are pretty much an underground mansion. Don't come looking for me, I'm not going with."

I pet Rex affectionately and scratch him. Then I spread my black wings and fly in the direction of the Dragon Kingdom.

I feel my black hair whipping my face as I think of the Kingdom. When it appears on the horizon, I give another dart of speed. I don't feel like I'm in control of my wings, like they're on autopilot. I dive at the entrance, at the last moment somersaulting and flaring my wings. "Name?" The bulky grey dragon at the wraought iron gate asked. I folded my wings, opening my locket to show the dragon scale. "I am Lilia, granddaughter to Farron." The startled guard blinked and let me in. I grinned. I belonged here.
