Oh gosh.....uuuummm.....IDK if it is a water type kinda thing, make a little miss best and place in it REALLY shallow water....??

With a final hit, the fox lies still. It was protecting its prey, a bunch of dead chickens. You smell something rotten too. This must be the creature the villagers were talking about.
Do you:

1) Investigate the smell
2) bring back the fox

It does nothing and starts to boil the water. You quickly take it out and place it in you lap. Then the cracking gets louder! Then all is in silence... A tiny furry head pops it's head out of the egg. You look for multiple tails, but only see one. Is something wrong? Then you realize, the older they get, the more tails they get! It looks at you with it's sea green eyes. It's runes are a deep ocean blue and it still smells salty. It crawls into your lap and falls asleep. What do you do now?
