Oh dear! I hope that he gets better soon. I never could stand animals in pain or uncomfortable, in fact I wanted to be a vet when I was really small. I wonder why they don't work, do you think these ones will work?
Aw! Teddy bear pomeranians are adorable, I really love them! You called him Yogi? XD Like yogi bear? Yes I mean eye contacts, I don't wear them often but when I go places I use them. It's actually not that bad putting them, you can barely feel them! ^-^

Aww, she's gorgeous. I'm sorry you had to give her up. I don't think I could deal with giving Yogi up, which is bad to say as I have had to give other pets up before and though it did hurt, I could deal with it, but Yogi has helped me immensely with my mental health issues since he came to us.

This is him when we first got him, I'll have to get my hands on a semi-decent phone or camera and upload a recent one of him.

His mum and sister won Crufts back in 2014, I think, the year may be wrong -he's 3 now.

I'm pretty much the same, I work part-time at an animal sanctuary, and I see a lot of hurt animals, quite a few of them being old, which has lead to me being hyper aware of our two cats, the one with the ear infection (Shadow) and our other one Polly, both being of considerable age now.

It's mainly down to the manufacturers, sometimes they'll change an ingredient to cut costs (which I think is what happened with the first one as they were both tried and tested by both the vet and the animal sanctuary I work at) and others just simply don't work.

I'm hoping so, I mean I have high hopes for this one as it was advised by another vet, the second one was sort of a shot in the dark for the vet we go to as he'd only known to go to the first brand since he'd become a vet.

I wasn't really into small dogs, I always saw them as yappy little things with a bad case of little big man syndrome, which, yes, Yogi does have, but in a cute way. At least to me.

And, yeah, he was named after Yogi-bear, I just couldn't resist naming him it, haha.

I can't see myself being able to wear them, I don't have the steadiest of hands, especially when I'm about to poke my eye out, haha.

Aw, it's sad that so many animals get injured. What breed are your cats?
Hopefully, this one will work then? If it's been recommended ^-^
Yeah, I can understand why you would think that they were yappy but all I could think about was that they were adorable and from the picture you showed, he is adorable. :3
And I feel your pain, my hands aren't that steady but as it turns out, it's really hard to poke your eye out XD

It is, and from an animal lovers view it's hard to see and still have faith in humanity as a lot of the injuries we see are caused by humans.

Yeah, hopefully. If not we'll just have to use a different one until we find one that does work.

He is adorable, despite his otherwise.. Uncute characteristics. Nah, he's lovely really. He can be a bit over-possessive of me at times and that can cause a few glares from people but I love him for it.

*Snorts* I find it very easy to poke my eye, haha.

Yeah, I mean honestly, how can some people be so horrid to animals when they are so lovely and plain cute. I sometimes wonder why humanity hasn't died out yet or something.

Haha, my dog was also very protective, he wouldn't let anyone leave the room because he wanted all of his family to stay together and everytime we left the house he would start barking. That's why we had to give him away, we were too busy. He did have a rough start to life. His first owner left him in a car and never came back, he's terrified of cars now. Poor thing.

I mean it's hard to poke your eye and have something bad happen to it.

Haha, yeah, it is hard to understand, especially seeing the things humans do on purpose,
and how sadistic they can be -I won't go into detail as it is rather upsetting. Just. Yeah. It makes you want the human race to die out, or at the very least feel disgusted that you share any part with those horrid beings.

Yogi's like that when I leave the house, even if there are other people within the house, which there normally is, though he's fine if someone else leaves the house and I'm still there. He's not so protective of others as he is me, sometimes he won't let anyone touch me, or let me fuss our cats. He likes to keep me to himself and gets jealous easily.

That's sad to here, but also really common to see, as a lot of the animals we come across have been abandoned and therefore have trust issues when being left in their new homes on their own. Though, I must say it's uncommon to hear of them being abandoned in a car, it's normally on the side of a road, or if they're lucky in the old house their owners once lived in. Most are just tied to something and left.

Haha, that's true, unless you have really long fingernails, and I do.

Yeah I know what you mean, sometimes the human race can be disgusting and you feel disappointed that you actually are part of this race.

That's exactly the same with my old dog. Very over protective and when my friend's cat used to come round, he would be always barking and angry because I want to stroke the cat rather than him.

I know it's common for pets to be abandoned but I can't understand why they would do that? They are so lovely and loyal. It's awful, how can someone just leave a pet alone? What if they die? Do they not care?

Oh haha, I don't have any fingernails. I have a habit of biting them. It's an awful habit but I just can't seem to stop. -_-

It truly does, but then there's the other side, the side where people are fighting for animals and dedicating their lives to protecting them, which though can sometimes be hard to see through the bad, restores some faith in humanity within me.

It could have been a territorial thing as well with your old dog -my dog's much the same when stray cats come around. It's less about protecting and more about ownership. We see that we own the pet, but most times it's unanimous, you own them in a sense, and they own you in a sense. My dog was originally supposed to have been my mums but had chosen me to be his, and therefore took ownership of my time and attention.

They don't care, and that's why they do it, they have no love or respect for the animal and therefore don't treat it how it should be treated -the people who do things like abandon pets or harm them are callous people with no heart. For them, they don't think about whether the animal will die, they think more along the lines of getting rid of a nuisance, a responsibility that they no longer want. They don't see animals as living, breathing beings, but more along the lines of things they can discard when they feel like it. Like an old, rusty bike or a crooked chair.

Haha, I used to bite my fingernails all the time until a few years back, now they're all different lengths and long enough to either poke my eye out or somebody else's. Preferably somebody else's.

Yeah it really does. It always makes me happy to see people that will actually help with this kind of things. It actually makes me proud to be human for a change and then I look back to all the wrong they've done. It's a never ending circle. =-=

Yeah, that's true it is a two way thing but my old dog seems to prefer his new owners. It's probably because they're around more and don't go out as much. It's nice to see him with a peaceful life but he does always enjoy my visits. His new owners always say, that he's still my dog it's just their looking after him but he definitely chose them. Which I'm fine with, I like him there, he fits better. ^-^

I hate people like that, they have no respect for living animals. Animals are alive and they feel as much as we do, so I can't understand, why would they do that? It's just despicable! They just can't. shouldn't do that!

That's good, was it hard to stop? Do you have any tips for someone trying to stop? Whenever I start to stop I just instinctively do it and it's incredibly hard.
