"Wow. You weren't kidding," Hummer giggled. Filt rolled her eyes and smiled. "Well, he must have some talent seeing he made a exploration team," she said. "Well, follow me!"

When they reached the bottom floor Samurott looked up from a map. "Come in,"

A Mightyena, Absol, Espurr, and Bewear were in the office with him.
"Mummy, I'm hungry." the Espurr complained.
"Silence. You're always hungry!" the Mightyena growled.
The tiny Espurr let out a loud wail that shattered all the glass in the room.

Nettle sighed and gave Espurr a pink gummi. "There's more where that came from. Now, you say you're from Kalos?" The Owl-like Pokemon said.

"Yes." Luke said. "Joey opened up some sort of portal and we fell in. Simple as that."

"Hmm..." Nettle said. "Kalos is in the Human World, if I'm not mistaking. I've heard of portals there and back, but we have yet to discover one," he looked at Joey. "I believe a Pokemon like Celibi, Palkia, Dialga or Garitina could open such portals, but not create them. But a Pokemon like Espurr creating one... that's a surprise indeed," Nettle said. He took a thick book off a shelf and set it down on a low table. The title was "The Time/Space Disortation Theroy".

"Joey was our own son. We're his real parents. It might have been some weird gene that made it possible for a Mightyena and an Absol to produce a Espurr." Lila said, looking down at Joey.

"Maybe one of your ancestors was a Meowstic," Nettle suggested. He put a feather on a diagram. "Found it. It is possible for such a rift to be created if the pokemon causes a Disortation in space or time, even a minor one can tear open portals," he said, turning his head all the way around to look at the four behind him.

"That'd probably be Luke." Lila said, cuffing Luke playfully over the ear.

Nettle chuckled quietly. "He does have that look to him, especially with those markings," He turned to face them. "In any case, once a certian pokemon travels through the fabric of Time or Space, they cause a Disortation themselves," he continued. "but it is minor so you won't have Palkia after you," he added with another chuckle.

"Thank Arceus." Lila said, sighing with relief. "He's already given me a warning. If I get another, it's back to the stars with me." she said.
Luke gave her an odd look.
"I was locked up in a star for five hundred years. I only got out because of good behavior."
